Mary Sánchez-Gordón is an Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department of the Østfold University College, Norway. She formerly worked at Universidad Central del Ecuador. Her research interests include applied research in information systems, software project management, software and services process improvement, and human factors in software engineering. She received the B.S. degree in computing and M.Ed. degree in education from the Universidad Central del Ecuador, in 1998 and 2007, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science and technology from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain, in 2013 and 2017. She has held positions as a Software Engineer, a Project Manager, and a Software Engineering Consultant in several companies.
